Waving the flag at canter in large sweeps
gives a spectacular beginning to the display.

Tetuã enjoys football like most young lads
and with Barry Whitcher's special
lighting technique, it gives
the photo that extra intrigue.

A moment of relaxation with his friend Flame.

Turning on the haunches to kick the ball
is a technique Tetuã is quick to master.

A split second earlier would have
caught all four legs off the ground!

Working with the Garrocha is new to both of us but at his first show, he pulled out 'all the stops' and we were able to do more than I was expecting.

Loving those turns underneath the Garrocha

Phew! I need a rest and Tetuã gives me perfect support as I  lean against Tetuã's legs whilst he stands on the barrel.

My apologies, Portugal, I had forgotten to put on my white shirt, which would have completed the traditional Campino dress so well known in the country.
Campinos are the  Portuguese herdsmen and stud grooms, wh wear a distinctive dress.

Clothing by Alfaiataria Ribatejo.
