It was a privileged to be able to film a selection of competitors at the CHIO at Aachen 1984.

The stands packed and enthusiasm grew as rider after rider

exceeded the expectation of the spectators.

It is sad that many of these riders and, I imagine, these lovely horses are no longer with us.

So these old videos are a tribute to these equestrians,

who were at the top of the tree of World Dressage in the 1980s.
