Built in 1944 at Short Brother's
factory, Belfast.
In service with 201, 422 &330
squadrons during the war.
Served with 5 Sqn.RNZAF (NZ 4108)
1953 - 1963.
Brought medical facilities to the
Islands of the South Pacific.
Adapted to a civil airliner,
providing an essential link between
Lord Howe Island and Australia
with Ansett Flying Boat Services.
Following owners: Charles Blair
(Antilles Air Boats)
Then by Edward Hulton before being
sold to
Kermit Weeks and flown to Florida,
1993.
