THE SUNDERLAND FLYING BOAT COLLAGE

Many people, who have purchased my ‘Last Sunderland Flying Boat’ video, have asked if they could see some more of the out-takes. So here are some of my favourite scenes from the original rough footage. No commentary, just the sounds as they were at the time. Imagine yourself behind the camera lens as you enjoy scenes from inside the cockpit, the launching, mooring, training flights, take-offs and landings, refuelling then the final departure as she leaves Calshot and Southamton Water heading for Florida.
